The ISTS 2014 is one of its kind symposium dedicated to the undergraduate students (not professors or graduate students). It aims to provide a general forum for enhancing interdisciplinary interactions, dialogue, and collaborations among students and their teachers. All participants will convene at one place to present and exchange their research, development and innovative ideas. The international nature of the symposium also provides an opportunity to communicate with students from around the world and makes them aware of the differences between the practices followed in different countries. The 1st and the 2nd symposiums in the series took place in Thailand in 2011 and 2012, respectively. In 2013, the third symposium moved to Hong Kong, and the fourth conference (ISTS 2014) is hosted by the National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) in Taipei with the support from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) of Japan.
